fMRI installation

Those notes are meant to help in the installation of the fMRI software in the UNIX environment with working MATLAB.

• Install the three directories with fMRI software: fMRI-tools, fMRI-post, fMRI-tools.
• Add the path to those directories to your MATLAB startup.m file
• Create the directory/ies for fMRI data base - all the parametric maps will be stored there.
• Modify the fMRI-tools/fmri_initialization.m file

the save_directory_tab defined in the end of this file should list the directories used for fMRI data base. Sometimes is is convenient to use different directories for different projects.

The default values for the "save_directory" - directory for fMRI data base and image_directory - directory for output images have to be defined.

• create the "setups_fmri" directory in your working directory - you should put your setups files (files defining the experiment design for each study) there.
